I don't know if she was happy but I don't think she had regrets. But I couldn't believe my friend felt that Turner killing her best friend in such a calculated way was something admirable. I was already in a bad spot with that friend, but that was one of the biggest nails in the coffin.

Been fighting a cold and am wearing a hoodie (with hood up) and under 3 blankets. I thankfully have been able to sleep off and on all day. I had to run an errand early this a.m. but otherwise, I'm in bed for the day. I am so glad I'm not on the hook for cooking Thanksgiving this week.

No, it was incredibly stupid. I could tell she was on Twitter during the movie so she wasn't really watching it. So without getting into the weeds of what happened but she thought Kathleen Turner's character's outcome was great and did the right thing. It was a conflict of our personal values.

I actually had a falling out with a friend over the ending of Body Heat! But I agree - a double feature would be fun!

He was such an incredibly talented director. For me, The Apartment is the best, but after that, it's hard to rank them. All so good!

In a previous TCM thing, it was mentioned that in current productions of Gigi "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" was sung by two women rather than the elder Honoré Lachaille character. It's sad our society is such that we have to make changes like that so people aren't creeped out.

I kind of miss going to Mall at Millenia. Social media didn't exist really so I would go there and shop, browse or have lunch/dinner with friends. I've been thinking a lot about how I spent my time before social media really took off. I was in the world way more than I am now.

I signed up for a 12 week free trial of a magazine website. On week 9 they charged me $50. I decided to let my bank fight it and they resolved it in two days. The rep I spoke to at my bank says this happens all the time with magazines. So keep a sharp eye out there!

I really really liked that! I love how open to interpretation the ending is. I know a lot of people hate endings like that, but I love them!
