People are dying and losing everything. Our priority should not be raising the debt ceiling so billionaires get more tax cuts. Whether it's wildfires in CA, or hurricanes and tornadoes in Louisiana, we should should never condition aid to disaster victims.

Yeah I’ve written out like five or six posts trying to explain this and very nearly started an anon Substack but this really covers it. I myself haven’t given up hope for a peaceful end to the oligarchy but a lot of people—probably most people—have. That’s why Luigi Mangione has become a folk hero.
There is something I NEED my lovely, liberal democrat friends to realize, ok? And that is that violence has already been normalized, and that people have already lost faith in the system. Whether you like it or not, this is “who we are”, and we need to act accordingly if we’d like that to change.
