I Think You Should Watch: Tim Robinson’s The Chair Company is a conspiracy thriller parody — think Three Days of the Schmuck — that plays like a mix of Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office, crossed with Kafka and a touch of David Lynch. My Boston Globe review:
The system is rigged: Tim Robinson has fun with conspiracy in HBO’s absurdist comedy ‘The Chair Company’ - The Boston Globe
The comedian best known for "I Think You Should Leave" brings his oddball sensibility to an absurdist corporate thriller comedy.

There's just no unlearning this
The recent BSG convention from was so fun, but I have to tell you something disturbing I learned. You know the tubs they used for cylon rebirth? They would save the goo each time & reuse it. So actors would feel other people‘s hair within the goo. Not sure I’ll ever get over knowing this.

Part of the joy of seeing Rilo Kiley live is the sense that everyone around you feels this excited to see them after all this time
Sorry for posting about Rilo Kiley so much. They are my favorite band of all time and I never thought I’d get to see them again. Just for context.

Resharing this for the Monday readers! Looking to chat with anyone who's looked for an apartment in the Boston area since the broker fee change went into effect in the state
Trying to cast a wide net for sourcing on this one, but has anyone in the Boston area found a new apartment since the broker fee change went into effect? I'm curious to see how it's been going for people for a piece in the Globe. Is this you or someone you know? #bostonsky #bospoli #mapoli

Big lists of books are tough — I wish we could have included 3X the books! — but on the plus side, I finally convinced the art director to get me a squirrel in the illustration. And the squirrel is reading its own book! Big ups to my @bostonglobe.com colleagues.
