Nothing like grading undergrad papers to remind you of your age! Students critically analyzing “13 Reasons Why” w/in EdPsych context. Student writes “cassette tapes is an old-fashioned way of listening to music, podcasts, that sort of thing. The same concept of Spotify or Apple Music nowadays.” 😩

Spending 4 days at #srcd25 last week has filled my professional heart and was exactly what I needed. Spending time in community w/ my academic family left me inspired & hopeful that we can be creative in moving forward supporting our work & advocating for our most vulnerable children & communities.

Trump reportedly wants to eliminate funding for Head Start programs.

These programs provide educational and nutritional support to our poorest children.

Meanwhile, Trump is pushing for more tax cuts for the rich and a record breaking $1 trillion Pentagon budget.

This article captures Catherine Snow so well! I am beyond thankful for the time I spent at HGSE learning from Catherine. It was fun reading the perspectives of my colleagues during my postdoc years at Harvard (2001-2004) & brought me back to Larsen Hall 3rd floor. www.gse.harvard.edu/ideas/ed-mag...
