I love Heidi Klum, but what kind of blurred soap opera filter do they have over her face that isn’t over anybody else on Project Runway? It’s so obvious to be distracting. I promise that Klum is gorgeous even with skin texture. We don’t need this in the year of our Lord 2025.

I loved living in San Francisco without a car. I never felt unsafe in the subway. I never actually felt unsafe on the street, either, for as much as people malign SF. I wish the city I live in now wasn’t a giant unwalkable stretch of roads and strip malls.
Every time I see conservative fearmongering about how dangerous the NYC subway is, I feel the need to defend it. I grew up in Ohio. It’s cars that are dangerous. It’s car accidents that are terrifyingly common. I’m not being dramatic when I say the subway is one of the best parts of my life now.

Oh my God. I just saw a bunch of people swearing with their last breath that using they/them in the singular is grammatically improper. They probably all have spoken they/them in the singular multiple times without realizing it. I want to know if schools are teaching grammar anymore.

A lot of people would rather be angry than right. And if someone corrects them, they will see that as a threat and decide that facts don’t matter if their anger is, in their opinion, righteous. You can’t make a compelling argument if you get basic facts & law wrong.
