#Thanksgiving in Madison, Wisconsin, at Eno Vino — small plates and a lovely view of the Capitol dome. The food is just soooo good.

Sorry to hear that. It’s a Bach product I discovered years ago at the local community/homeopathy pharmacy. I use the liquid melts, but there’s spray and tincture too.

Working out frustrations by walking. Wandered 7.5 miles today — yeah, frustrated with current affairs has that effect on me.

Saw this along the way in a backyard along a preserve path to brighten my mood.

Stop receiving catalogs! I discovered Catalog Choice after my mom died. Loved her dearly, but that woman was a catalog queen. Everything from fruit cakes to stationery, the catalogs kept a-comin.

I donate a small amount when I use the service, but payment is not required.

I enjoyed the view of Lake Wilma as we sat in the back of our Lyft heading back to our hotel on Belmont this evening. A successful Chicago shoe shopping trip.

#Chicago does not disappoint. Enjoying a late lunch at The Cumin on Belmont.
I’m enjoying The Cumin. The hubs is having The Skywalker. We have the entire restaurant to ourselves.

Since 1977, making stews and pot roasts and still going strong.

Out walking on a cloudy, drizzly day. The brilliant red of the maple against the muted yellows of the surrounding trees was pretty cool.

They were always the “tainted” candies from my daughter’s stash. “You never know — somebody could re-twist those wrapper ends. Mom better take those.”

The kids have a good setup this year: an inflated movie screen, projector, treats, chairs, and a warmer. Come to Minnesota, they say!

The puzzle — it is done.

Now what do I do with it? I’ve never finished a puzzle like this before.

Despite Covid, I ventured out for a walk today. Had to test out the camera on my new phone. The zoom is great. Do you see the little bee on the top flower?

LisaJo is still isolating from COVID and bored outta her mind, but completing the puzzle actually seems doable now.

LisaJo has Covid. LisaJo is bored. The puzzle hole grows smaller each day.

My Great Recipes Strikes Again.
The hubs has COVID, and I’m stuck with kitchen duty this week. Tonight is Cashew Chicken, My Great Recipes Card No. 91 in the chicken category.

Good god, there’s still a very large hole to be filled. I remain determined!

Were you in Madison yesterday? I saw that sign too!

Fascists say I am many things that I am not. 😉

Reminds me of the Star Trek episode with the salt vampire.

I got a free hat at No Kings Madison today. In return, they asked for a follow on social media. #WeThePeople
Follow if you will, please.

This is my favorite Chihuly in the Seattle museum. I waited so long for everyone to leave the room so I could get this shot.
