I love that this #SixGeneration chart gives us a different representation of our pedigree! With each color representing a different place of birth, it's so interesting to see all of that ancestral migration to Texas happen. #genealogy

So, I visited Honey Creek Cemetery near Hico, Texas, yesterday to look for the grave of my 3rd great-grandmother. When I arrived at the cemetery, I saw that many of the graves simply had a rock or stone at the head and foot. There was no room for words, no other identifying markers.
