I think the amazing sing-song 'armoured cars and tanks and guns' made it like a nightmarish nursery rhyme. The version on 'Hang my Country' has an extended spoken bit, w the faint sounds of a Nazi rally in the background (I think!)

Annie Fletcher of Irish Museum of Modern Art being presented with the award of European Art Museum of the year in by the European Museum Academy in Budapest. Fantastic citation mentioning IMMA’s ‘pioneering, inclusive, and socially engaged approach to contemporary museology’. Brava!

In Ireland we talked a bit about race - our teacher also noted that Heathcliff was 'found' in Liverpool and a possible Irish connection given the Brontë's background - Terry Eagleton made much of that link in this:

Very sad today on the death of our supportive and committed neighbour, friend, colleague Raghnall Ó Floinn, ex-Director @nmireland.bsky.social, archaeologist, scholar, chair of the historical studies committee @ Royal Irish Academy - and of our residents' organisation. Comhbhrón lena theaghlach.
