‘I met with a man who’s a very rational person’

Do you suppose Mamdani could say the same thing?
Q: Stefanik has called Mamdani a 'jihadist.' Do you think you're standing next to a jihadist right now?

TRUMP: No, I don't. I met with a man who's a very rational person

Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

‘Trump’s aggressive sexism, now seemingly uncontrollable by the man himself, isn’t just a personal foible. It’s a political weapon, and one tied to violence — a war on women that is ultimately part of the war on democracy.’

Good that they are investigating these shady Kennedy Center deals.

But what action will be taken if they discover wrongdoing? Trump appointees who conduct unethical or illegal acts seem to get away with it every time.

An important part of the job for any WH Press Secretary is to clean up remarks made by the president or offer explanation/context or apology when warranted. But Leavitt never does that. She always crafts a response that makes it even worse by adding her own toxic twist.

This is an accidentally honest answer. What she's saying in code is:
"The President is a misogynist, petulant bully. You've all seen him be a misogynist, petulant bully. And lots of voters out there are also misogynist or petulant or bullies and that's why they like him."
Q: What did the president mean when he called a reporter "piggy"?

LEAVITT: Look, the president is very frank & honest with everyone in this room. You'll all seen it yourself. You've all experienced it yourselves. And I think it's one of the many reasons the American people reelected this president

Good follow-up from Nancy Cordes of CBS.
Leavitt: Why aren't you talking about what these members of congress are doing to encourage violence…. They're literally saying to 1.3 million active duty service members not to follow lawful orders

Reporter: Actually they said illegal orders.

This is so true. We are all busy and could find a zillion reasons why we are 'too busy.' But the void from the loss of a friend and the regret from not seeing him/her/them will remain forever
My sister died a couple of weeks ago. This isn’t a post for sympathy but to share some advice. She had been sick for years and it’s crazy, and infuriating, how many people tell me “I should have gone to see her.” It’s all I can do to not scream “YES YOU F***ING SHOULD HAVE.”
