What would you say is the turning point that a new language is becoming intuitive for you?

Is this thing on?

Am I boring? Is it me??

Perhaps the most obvious clue that we needed this platform so badly is everyone's complete indifference to the minor glitches. It's not perfect, but it feels great.

I hope Bluesky is considering a legitimate verification system—in the way it used to be on old Twitter. Not multiple colors, multiple tiers, or paid. But one clean way of verifying artists, politicians, news organizations/journalists, writers and various public figures.

Likes mochas & Malbecs, Jays/Leafs/WWE, historical fiction, languages, scary movies - oh, and protection of fundamental human rights.

In less than an hour, my feed has taught me that I am one of MANY who: (1) can't pass a bookstore without taking a peek (2) buys books faster than they can read them (3) thinks dog-earing the pages is a crime upon humanity. 😂📚

New to Bluesky today. Abandoned Twitter so long ago, I forgot how to do this. What is this cornucopia of content from real people, absent of celebs and corporate? 🤯 Do we have to tell people? 🤫
