If I could make a gentle critique of the Winsome campaign message, most Virginians and most Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction. “Keep a good thing going” doesn’t seem like the most resonant message they could have gone with.

Wow, looks like the NIH is spending $3.9 billion in research funding in across 3,496 projects in NC alone. If I were an elected representative from NC I’d be pretty mad if these projects were cancelled!

Strongly agree with @brianbeutler.bsky.social on persuasion, particularly this. How Harris spent campaign dollars is juicy but doesnt explain her defeat. The question is what did Dems do and not do to be in as deep of a hole as they were by summer 2024. www.offmessage.net/p/democrats-...
