Yes, my little kit. You are living in the end of the world. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful faerie queen named Enaid, who loved every living thing. She loved all beings so much that she gave her life to save a magical white stag, the last of his kind. A hunter was prowling the forest and came upon him grazing in a clearing. Thinking him an unusual deer, the hunter took aim, intent on bringing him down and taking him home to display his beautiful white fur and horns proudly on his trophy wall. Enaid, in the forest admiring the stag, saw this and dashed in front of the beast as the hunter pulled the trigger. The bullet struck her in the chest, right through her loving heart.

First record you bought?

So... I must confess, I actually didn't buy a record player or a vinyl record until uh... this year. So my first record was Seven Inches of Satanic Panic by Ghost.

I bought an additional five Ghost records the same month, but Seven Inches was the one that started it all.

I think we owe it to ourselves to admit this isn’t working out, and let each other go," Carrie said, her tone even and collected. "It’s for the best.” The words stung every time, but still Bell smiled, because it was all they could do to keep the tears from welling in their eyes. “Maybe it is,” they murmured softly, their tone also carefully controlled. They couldn't let it waver, couldn't let the pain show. “But… before we do, one last kiss?” Carrie shifted her weight from one foot to the other, frowning gently at the request. “I don’t know if that’s a good idea.”

It might be a little on the nose, but I associate Bell with the bleeding heart flower. Their longing to be loved has led them down a long road of heartbreak, but still they try to find it. Love and sorrow, that's what this plant is about.

Bell and Key from BYMMS are shapeshifting gumiho. Bell is half-human, but Key is not. Despite being best friends, this distinction causes issues between them, because Bell believes this is why Key doesn't care about the welfare of humans and is willing to eat them. Bell doesn't eat humans-- anymore.

BYMMS may not be finished yet, but I saw this fox ring at the mall and had to get it to celebrate the story anyway. (It's also a little for Iron Spirit since foxes are big in that too.)

The MCs of Iron Spirit are all half human, half fae! (Known as witches in-universe.) In the Iron Legacy universe, 'fae' is the go-to term to define any nonhuman entity originating on Earth. (So no angels, demons, etc.) Kelly and Ken are kitsune, Cyrano is a selkie, and Phaedra is a sphinx.

Okay I would like some opinions on this. I've been trying to do these sprayed edges & I can't seem to get it right. No matter what I do I get some bleed on the inner pages, even when I clamp the book in wood planks. Would this bother you if you bought a book with sprayed edges & it came like this?

I don't have a specific insectoid character to talk about, but the Kureh-sha from Pierce the Sky are a race of insectoid aliens that function as a hivemind, so they wouldn't really see themselves as individuals anyway. My answer was too long for bsky so here's what I wrote on Threads.
I don't have a specific insectoid character to talk about, but the Kureh-sha from Pierce the Sky are a race of insectoid aliens that function as a hivemind, so they wouldn't really see themselves as individuals anyway. They hail from the planet of Omn-hoshe, where their population grew so big that they began traveling space in search of other planets to colonize. Since then they've taken over multiple planets, including Xua, the original home of the Xuaci-olokan. Kureh-sha is Xuaci for 'shadow.' The true name of the Kureh-sha cannot be easily replicated by human and Xuaci language, which is why they are referred to by the name the Xuaci gave them.
