I didn’t know they travel up the CA Foothills flyway, but last week I heard a huge, loud crowd of chattering birds outside, and went to see what they were. I only caught the last few deltas, but omg, there were a couple hundred that came over, heading ENE, in waves, for about 10-15 minutes. Amazing!
