I didn’t know they travel up the CA Foothills flyway, but last week I heard a huge, loud crowd of chattering birds outside, and went to see what they were. I only caught the last few deltas, but omg, there were a couple hundred that came over, heading ENE, in waves, for about 10-15 minutes. Amazing!

Underway at my place! Prior was vinyl-topped laminate with 5 different pictures of ‘distressed’ wood, meaning slightly ashy and complete with artistic drips of…some brown liquid. Oil? Horse liniment? Heaven knows, but I am done scrubbing my floors because I’m not sure if the dirt is real or ‘art’.
