It’s been awhile since I did a garden update. This was our peak harvest, which I’m honestly shocked by considering it was our first year. We planted a new set of tomatoes, so I’m curious to see how those do as we go into fall.
We also have been dipping our toes into canning (it’s mostly salsa)

Also, people with cat allergies aren’t allergic to their fur. It’s due to the fel d 1 protein in a cat’s saliva. When they groom themselves, you’re reacting to their dander.
Siberian cats naturally produce lower levels of this protein, so if you have mild allergies, they may not provoke a reaction

I had quite the surprise when I opened my cabinets. It’s not some new preservation technique, it’s so we can avoid playing the “where’s the tomato” game with our kittens 🤦♀️
