I asked a client for several docs 6 weeks ago. No answer. He emails one (!!!) of them today and then sends a follow up, a message to the admin, an email to the paralegal, and an email to my boss when I didn’t reply within the hour

I’ve had 3 days of absolute chaos at work this week and I was blaming the bad vibes on the long weekend but at the end of the day today, I realized I hadn’t opened my planner all week or made my September plans. I really am a planner girlie

apparently in Alabama there’s a law that says if you plan to do something in another state that would be illegal to do in Alabama, that is itself a crime. essentially allowing prosecution for a phantom conspiracy, where no one ever planned an actual crime.
