The chickens and I greet another fair dawn. The relief after the storm is strong.

Another snowy dawn. The snow came very early yesterday, for the first time since we moved in six and a half years ago.

A cold dawn for me and the chickens, in Devon. The frost is glittering and crunchy; the eastern skyline fiery. The chickens are staying in bed.
