I have issues with JB Pritzker, but his record on civil liberties and reinforcing protections for women, LGBTQ+ people, workers, and regulating business. I will gladly vote for him over any Republican or lukewarm Democrat (Republican-lite). I will protect my community over egg prices any day.

The LAPD is an institution that refuses change. There's barely any difference from how they were during the BLM protests in 2020 and LA riots in 1992. The way most police institutions operate currently, needs to be overhauled in nearly all branches.
As someone who has lived in LA for twenty years, this is the LAPD’s MO. When I found my brother in law dead, they showed up late and were joking among each other (literally laughing). Then when there is a protest, they can’t wait to put on armor and attack the citizenry they “protect and serve”.

I only recently started delving into the works of David Lynch, and found them to be some of the most challenging pieces in studying filmmaking. He didn't make movies or TV shows for paychecks or to cross off a to-do list, he made them because he simply loved creating art.
