Nothing says “I have adhd” like looking in the mirror for the first time in a couple of days and realizing you’ve been wearing your overalls crooked because you adjusted one and got distracted before adjusting the other 😂 #thestruggleisreal

These mugs will be a part of the Art for Autonomy show tomorrow in Avl! There’ll be so much great art at all of the venues. These mugs & other new work from my latest firing will be at the Clayspace Co-op & we are all donating a percentage of our regular gallery sales from tomorrow night as well!

We fired the kiln over the weekend ✨ Some of these pots will be going to Clayspace for the Art for Autonomy show this weekend! See previous post for details (more info can be found on my website under events!)

My grandma‘s Daffodils are pushing up through the Oak logs my dad has been cutting since the storm. What better way to live on than through a flower that cheers folks up at the end of a long winter 💛

I’ve been going to plant sales at this spot for like 20 years and I’ve learned so much walking the booths and just taking it all in. So many of my plants over the years have come from this sale. This year I’ll be there as a vendor again, with pottery & plants! Excited! 🪴

The ares on the creeks that are growing thick with River Cane held up so well to the flooding we saw from Helene. All of this was under water. There’s a garbage can up in a tree just down stream from this spot.

This is my dad‘s property in Fairview where he had his horses. His barn, fencing, many tools and another sweet shed (he built all of this) washed away into Cane Creek. Thankfully we got the horses out the Wednesday night before the flood, but I’m still so sad for my dad, so much hard work. #helene
