As lunchtime approached, we were all buzzing about who we were most excited to meet. Then...our teacher came into the room with a frown and some cupcakes. She confessed it was an April Fools "joke" that got out of hand. The cupcakes were her attempt to make us forget her great sin. We... cried.

In 5th grade (1999?) the UConn women's team was EVERYTHING. On April 1st, our teacher told us the basketball team was coming to our class for lunch. We flipped out and our excitement was an 11/10. We noticed our teacher's demeanor changed, but we didn't care, we were gonna meet the huskies!!!

I've never done this before! I'll look into it!!
