2/2 This iconic sign has been replaced and we now have the opportunity to find this piece of Barkley history a home. The idea is to auction it, with the proceeds going to the Barkley Fund, which finances the race. The question now: would this be of interest? More details to follow.

While it is unusually long in overall history, I think this should be expected from this rendition of the Barkleys (seems the route was made a lot more difficult this yr given 5 finishers last yr). Fastest 1st loop was 9hr 44 min. Fastest 2nd loop was probably Tomo's at 12hrs 35min.

I think given the time splits and despite the slower times so far, it's very much plausible (my only concern might just be the weather hitting them hard - chill at -1 deg C, rain showers, in the dark, strong gales).
