Haven't been following the race as much. But interesting to see how Damien, Mathieu, and Sebastian (as of time of posting, the "lead pack") will get through the rainy conditions at Frozen Head. #bm100

If anyone's looking for some Tomo content, it looks like there's a whole documentary about his 2023 attempt, that I somehow haven't seen. I thought I was up on all the #BM100 docs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=m34i...

This'll be my last post relating to #bm100 because it's finally settled in to me that the race ended. Thanks to the organizers and the racers, and anyone who I interacted with for info and takes. I'll now go into near radio silent for now.

Me still hoping that Tomo is Barkley okay... #bm100

John Kelly, who is credited with a Fun Run, tapped himself out, after which Sébastien Raichon was tapped out. Tomokazu Ihara is still on the course after 40 hours. #BM100

The Frenchman looks to have reached the gate but not quite the fun run. Either way, congrats to Sebastien! You've gone 60mi further than I would've. #bm100

The forest runner had his fun! #bm100 Congrats to John on probably the roughest route in a while.

Hopefully they're still Barkley OK at this point. This will be a really rough last hour and a bit #bm100
50 mile per hour wind, steady rain, less than 1:15 to go. The runners better be on Ball Bearing Hill if they hope to get here in time. Wherever they are, things are getting intense. This is the Barkley. #BM100

The rain has started and the wind has really picked up. Less than 1:20 remain for the runners to finish Loop 3. #BM100

2/2 This iconic sign has been replaced and we now have the opportunity to find this piece of Barkley history a home. The idea is to auction it, with the proceeds going to the Barkley Fund, which finances the race. The question now: would this be of interest? More details to follow.

All of you recognize this sign, which is from the iconic Yellow Gate. This is the sign that was in the documentary; the sign Jasmin Paris collapsed next to when she finished the Barkley; the sign countless Barkers have passed as they ran the race . . . 1/2

On best understandings, we had loop 2 times of about 13hrs30 (Tomo), 14hrs (John), and 15hrs45 (Sebastian).

Tomo has been on loop 3 13hrs30, John 13hrs10 and Sebastian 12hrs20.

I'd say we remain on for a strong chance of two fun runs #bm100
