I’m conscious so many people are feeling anxious or angry. It’s because you care. It’s because you have heart and empathy for your fellow citizens. Take comfort from knowing you are not alone, and collectively we can create good in this world. Small to begin with, but it will grow. Rest well. 😊

love to wake up and read about three or four new existential threats before breakfast, very invigorating!

Something more uplifting than where I’ve been the last couple hours!
Watching Jon Baptiste write music to a Green Day song - he's never heard before - is amazing to watch. He's such an amazing musician and hearing piano in this song is cool. I love this concept and it would be fun to see this with more artists/songs.

Hey so we shouldn't cut Social Security for more reasons than I can fit in a single post, but its probably bad to cut Social Security (which has never missed a payment in its entire history) at the same time that Trump's tariffs are decimating people's 401k's.

I was on Bluesky before I even knew it existed!
Age may just be a number, but ageism is real.

On U Rising, I talked with Linda Edelman, faculty in the College of Nursing, about our perceptions of aging, ageism, what it means to be an age-friendly campus and the mindset that helps you age well. attheu.utah.edu/u-rising/age...

I’m honored to co-author a book on Age-Friendly Ecosystems with Valerie Greer (and she deserves the main share of the credit!).
