This is the view from my back yard. The cliffs of the Minturn Formation with Cross Creek in the foreground. This view never gets old! This one was taken about a year ago. The colors aren't quite there yet this year, but we're getting close.

We were a little late in the season for wildflowers in Steamboat Lake State Park, but there were still a few.

A bull moose crossing the wetlands near my home. The lighting effect was purely accidental. I was driving home, saw this moose and pulled out my phone, which had a smudge on the lens, and this was the result. Happy accident!
