Debate about whether Unite should continue to affiliate to the Labour Party has gone silent in recent months.
I don't understand why and maybe will investigate as I still subscribe to Unite, even though I have retired recently, in order to support them.
I think it will be time to end that.

The mansion tax only serves to address some of the regressive nature of council tax on the poorest earners, there is no gain here.
The tax and NI allowance freeze means the lowest earners are going to contibute billions in income tax, where highest earners pay no extra, so no gain here either.

Hopefully a green candidate will stand there even if its not Zack Polanski as he hasn't decided where to stand yet.
At least some Clacton residents might be aware who the Greens are now and it won't be because of the media.

I have always wandered what is in it for Zia Yusuf but it must be good if he is willing to demonise the very groups of people he is part of. It must be humiliating.
