Agree. He knew he’d f-ed up, the booing served no purpose and turned the stadium toxic.

I just wanted us to beat Arsenal or Chelsea. That would have done for me.

Me? I'm just depressed. I didn't have any illusions going into it WRT score line, but wanted to see the players looking like they cared. I've seen a worse defeat - 0-5 at WHL 23.12.1978 -but this one stung

In the modern world a manager would never have got away with a comment like that, thankfully. However, working the hours you've put in today is not healthy. Take care of yourself.

PersonAlly I think tearing players apart on social media stinks. However people have come to feel they are entitled to say what they want about players, the truth is that it can destroy the very team they claim to support. Positive or at least constructive praise is essential for player wellbeing.
