Sighs and gets back on my soapbox... I'm about halfway through "Old Wounds" by Logan-Ashley Kisner. Some parts of this book are truly hard to read. It is stark commentary on the way trans people are viewed and treated, both by society and by those that are supposed to love them.

Not to pop up again after three months just to talk about another queer book that deeply affected me, but... I finished reading "Don't Let the Forest In" a few months ago and I am thinking about it every day still. It was deeply impactful to me, though the open ending wasn't my favorite thing ever.

Not to be emo, but the quote, "Because I'm not a wolf, I'm a rabbit. Why would I be anything else," will be the death of me. I could go into such a deep analysis of "The Spirit Bares it's Teeth" it's literally insane! However it will have to wait because I have a psych paper I'm procrastinating...
