Participated in @riverkeeper.org’s annual #Riverkeepersweep yesterday! Our group removed over 40lbs of trash from ~300’ of the Bushwick Inlet. Scrounging for “treasures” under rocks was satisfying, esp. when wedged pieces required some gumption and brawn 😂 Great group of folks. Good haul 🦾

Despite having my raised bed prepped, soil stacked, and compost at the ready, my fear of messing this process up paralyzed me and I missed Imbolc/last frost planting.

Tonight, I got over the perfectionism and sowed my tomato seeds. Fingers crossed.

The cookies are flavorFUL and savory; and knowing its main ingredient was foraged makes them feel special. Just wanted to share today's joy.
