Hello 👋 it's me, CEO of the world's first billion dollar* rhymes company. I warn you this video was met with surprising opprobrium on another, move business-focused social platform, but Bluesky gets me.

Good Sunday good friends, what will come?
How much madness this week, how much dumb?
How’s your view from tonight —
Past the bleak is there bright?
Will some nerve rise anew in the numb?

Jeffries, your leader and mine
Is not who you want on that line
Opinions may differ
On which thing is stiffer
A puddle of mush or his spine
getting what done? he's not doing anything.
KATIE COURIC: Do you think the Democratic Party has become too progressive?

HAKEEM JEFFRIES: I think it's important for us to be the party of common sense solutions and getting it done.

“What’s happening?” says Marco at night
As he watches the red-flickered light
Of a fire claim the land
Which he not only fanned
But has actively helped to ignite
Musk and Rubio are fighting.

Good.
Let them fight. 😈

When all of their loins should be girded
The Democrats cowered and herded
The dictators earn
A look that is stern
And a letter or two, strongly worded
The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right.

The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter.

Everyone must choose which side they’re on.

The speech at the bridge was quite searing —
Important and well-worth rehearing
He’s certainly great
At rhetorical weight
And also, of late, disappearing
It’s the 60th Anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” at Selma, and thus the 10th anniversary of President Obama’s speech there, my favorite of all his public oratory, although it reads differently now. 🧵

They tried but they couldn’t recruit ‘er
Hats off, we just have to salute ‘er
They thought she would be a
Fine heir to Scalia
But woopsie they got ‘em a Souter
The Supreme Court’s closely divided decision this week to reject the Trump administration’s freeze on foreign aid unleashed a torrent of vitriol from the president’s supporters largely aimed at a single justice — Amy Coney Barrett.
Justice Amy Coney Barrett ignites anger on the right after ruling against Trump
Conservative allies of President Donald Trump called Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett “evil,” a “closet Democrat” and a “DEI hire.”

Elon is well on his way
Turning all that is good to puree
Though the German right wing
May be mainly his thing
Now he also takes cues from Pompeii

"Tariffs!" said one bluffing brute,
A shout from a shrimp in a suit
"I'll raise 'em!" but no,
He reversed Mexico,
Is Canada next? We’ll find oot.
