They were a bit off with timing this time around so it was a little after, but the expedition they do with every patch always fast tracks you to the new stuff. So patch time is always a good time to just go in and see the new thing.

I think for jams where I'm always going to make a web build I'll be working in GDScript until they figure out the C# side of things. But my preference by far would be to just be C# all the time. I think if you come from Python you'd probably think differently, but that's not me.

Oh no! I almost did that too, but had the distinct feeling I should jump back down.

Thanks! Just played yours and I was like how many levels did you make?! Really neat, even if some of those levels are very mean.

I did! lim-ak.itch.io/gmtk2025

I've been failing to complete jams for a variety of reasons so it felt good to have something I'm happy with despite all the unfinished edges.

Looks cool I'll give it a go when I'm less sleepy.

I was definitely rushing today to get mine done. Good theme this year, definitely had fun concepting.

Startpage remains AI free as far as I can tell. Some of the firefox forks like Waterfox and Librewolf also have no AI but kind of my nature every firefox fork is a very small team of contributors compared to something like Vivaldi.

I did the switch on my secondary PC earlier this year and bar a one or two issues at the start I'm mostly pretty happy with it. Mint is the distro I ended up settling on after trying out a handful.

I just looked this up. They just released an 8th edition in April this year.

Zen is my secondary right now, but that's because you can do fun stuff with split views and compact modes to just have some floating webpage with no other UI. Firefox is my main, but I've been looking at waterfox and librewolf.

Did you try digiKam for your purposes? I'm in darktable land so I'm going to keep my mouth shut on if that project has UX issues.

I've been using Mint on my secondary PC for a while now and it's mostly been fine. But I still haven't found a good replacement for MusicBee, everything I've tried sucks in some way or other and I have half a mind to download some source code and start fucking around.

Nice have a good one out there. Wish I spent more time in Yokohama, but I've only done day trips out of Tokyo to there
April 29, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Oooh nice. Yokohama's a nice place to walk around, how long are you out there for?

I'll probably install some other distros in the next couple weeks. I've got it to an acceptable-ish state at the moment, but it was a pain in the ass and I'd really like something I can kind of whole heartedly recommend come win 10 end of life day. And crappy in a different way to Windows isn't it.

If it sways you at all Atomfall is not a massively long game. Not small, but it's like 11-12 hours exploring most things.

Hey! Congrats to you and the team! Ya'll made a really good one, it's well deserved.
