Must be what madness feels like.
Didn't think it possible for @thehornesection.bsky.social to ever do something to make me hate them even a little bit but...
Hope this song haunts their silly noggins 'till the end of time.

Amazing show once again, the new song was great even if Grumpy Mark had notes for Alex at the end, and Purple Ryan is my favorite joke of the show tonight, clever boys.

Great 1st half, with a new song! And who's that? Such mystery.

My legs having betrayed me, I took the decision to not be a stubborn idiot & end my hiking adventure 2 days early. Made my way 🚌 🚌 🚆 to Liverpool to rest & play tourist while waiting for @thehornesection.bsky.social show, which is tonight!

First day of sun! The day starts with climbing sharply to Castell Dinas Brân followed by a steep climb down. At that point, although I am worried about my knee, I decide that the day is too beautiful to pass up, on I go. What a beautiful day!

Not much to say about that day, monday, aside from 🚌 🚌 🚆 🚌.
I've hurt a knee during one of my 8 tumbles on day 3 but hoped that a day of rest & one spent in transport would be enough rest to keep going.
Llangollen is beautiful !

Moving hurts, I have lost 1 of my 2 hiking trousers,a lot of my things, and me, are covered in mud, my shoes are wet & smell like death, I am exhausted, but, big but, I have done it! I hiked those mountains like they were mere mounds of mud.

Started the day early caise it was forecast to rain and I wanted to clear the steep, steep, ascent back To Offa's Dyke Path before then. Wise choise it started raining almost the second I finished climbing.

I am back! So day 2 ended in Llanthony in a valley with "Buckinghamshire Broadband", so no posting pics, & day 3 is a whole other incoming tweet thread.
In the morning I walked to Monmouth then took a bus to Pandy to start hiking in the Black Mountains.

It rained ALL morning till what? 1pm? Not the best start to this adventure but what beautiful views & forests! No regrets.
A Convenient bus took me from Bristol to 10 minutes away of the start of the Offa's Dyke Path in Chepstow.

Lovely city, very artsy and beautiful. The Horne Section show was deliciously chaotic, I'm still smiling and laughting thinking about it.

May I recommend stopping by the RWA Art Gallery for the Connecting Threads exhibition? It is a feast to the eyes. Half is free access and half is ticket access.
A few pics to wet your appetite 1/2
