I choose to be imperfect, to learn, to be vulnerable in sharing my unfinished thoughts, to listen, and to grow.

We are pressured to present ourselves and our thoughts as complete final products for consumption, rather than iterative constantly changing beings that have an immense capacity for curiosity and empathy.

In my day job I feel the pressure to always have the right answer ready right away, when in fact there is so much necessary room for learning and trying something and failing, only to try something that's a bit better next time.

Interesting 🤔 definitely worth exploring. As someone who frequently struggles to report pain levels using the pain scale (I tend to score pain lower than expected) I feel like this idea is a great invitation to the author to share more about why they chose the ratings they did!
