I take zero credit for tonight's playoff-clinching come-from-behind walk-off victory, but I did put this (clearly) handmade "LET'S RALLY" sign up on the big screen when the Sox were trailing 3-1 in the 7th, and then they scored one in the 7th, one in the 8th, and one in the 9th.

We are reaching the point where the right thing to do won't always be the safe thing to do. This doesn't mean that people shouldn't do the right thing, just that it will require bravery. Courage isn't lack of fear, it's acknowledging your fear and then acting anyways.
I think you might be right about this. My 75yo mother is irate about this and is, at long last, beginning to understand what’s happening. She told me she wanted to write a letter to ABC to tell them how upset she is, then quickly changed her mind. “It’s not safe to do than anymore, is it?”
