Moved from rural coastal Monterey, California, small town life to the big city life at San Antonio, Texas. You will find me indoors hiding from the sun, pollen and speeding cars on the freeway.
His cousin Caroline is a well grounded person.
She lost her dad young too.
She never became a drug addict?
From the little I know of her, I like her.

I do not want to soil his home with my works of fiction.
That as soon as I could, I found a place for them.
That I wish him well.
That I am sure he can find someone else that agrees with his choices.
It is not me.
I can't give up fiction.
I would change my number.
Not give my address.
Just go.

Being myself, I would formally announce that I can't meet the no fiction rule.
That I understand the importance to him regarding the literature that enters his home and the shows played there.
That I respect his choices.
Due to my extreme respect, I have moved my things to my new home.

We need to do better at letting women know they do not have to comprise and please men.
Being single is not a crime.
It is not a punishment.
It is delightful to do what you want.
Enjoy it.

What do you do?
End things.
Find a new home and move there.
Spend your free time, reading whatever you want.
Watch what you want.
Be joyful re-reading your favorite novel.
He drew a line in the sand.
Respect it.
He will be a dick about it.
He will attack you over it.
Let him.
Move on without him.

Be invited to participate in events or be seen with them?
She volunteered with special olympics with the hope she would meet a kennedy and make friends with them?!

I know that there is a Kennedy fan club.
One of my coworkers was in love with all things Kennedy.
I never understood why?
We lived in California.
She was born and raised in the Bay area.
Seems that they are a goal for some people to be in their inner circle?

Sometimes being an on call consultant meant I made things better. Often it meant, I was told to never come back because I called them on their shit.
I didn't need to work for them.

Asked if he ever got trays from the kitchen?
No he did not.
I suggest he start tasting the food and come in at breakfast and dinner and on weekends because they were serving swill. He did. They fired the kitchen director. Got a new crew. Better meals. Less weight loss. No more bonuses.

A health shake, in between meal snacks...
I am sure the kitchen manager was furious.
It would have been cheaper if they had just given her ketchup when she asked. I talked to the President (director) and told him the food was disgusting. TOs required for condiments?! Gave him the weight loss logs.

I talked to the kitchen manager, I was told that patients required a physician's order to get items not on the menu.
So, I asked the patient what she wanted?
I also asked her if she wanted ice cream with all meals?
Butter? I wrote an order for her to get a large number of condiments, ice cream...

She did not need to lose 40 pounds.
She told me that the powdered eggs were burnt, her toast was burnt. That the food was burnt more often than not. That it was either over seasoned or had none. She asked for ketchup to hide the taste of powdered eggs, was told not on the menu.
December 8, 2025 at 2:03 AM
Meaning if you like ketchup or hot sauce on your eggs, you can't have it because it was not listed. If you want BBQ sauce to dip your fries? too bad. If you put ranch on everything, you don't anymore. I had a 40 year old hip replacement patient there. She lost over 40 pounds in 5 weeks.
December 8, 2025 at 2:03 AM
The company I worked for only gave end of year bonuses to managers who exceeded goals. The kitchen manager got huge bonuses for coming under budget. That was because the food was disgusting. The facility across the street was even worse.
They did not allow condiments, if it wasn't listed on the menu

You are correct that rinsing rice removes starch.
It is also to remove impurities.
It is not uncommon for little pebbles and twigs to be in packages of rice.
Bugs will float to the top.
Sometimes, you only see the bugs once they float to the top of the water.
Their feces and webbing too...

Washing American white rice removes the vitamin coating.
By law, white rice has to be enriched with the vitamins that are lost when milling to change it from a whole grain to white rice.
Americans are taught not to rinse the vitamins off the rice.
Only Americans seem to enrich white rice?

I have never seen a cat toilet like that!
My huge tomcat would be way too big for that.
December 8, 2025 at 1:23 AM
This is so very weird to me.
Everyone seems to want to be an influencer and not a reporter?
December 8, 2025 at 1:18 AM
This thing where everyone talks about Kennedy's looks?
Is weird. It makes me question if they are hoping he will pay attention to them and they can get Kennedy family money? Introduced to his circle? The praise? He is failing. He can't back up a single claim! You would expect him to be attacked!

My friend thanked me for bringing that up because she obtained her news from a local station and got the local paper and hadn't noted that news was different depending on who sponsored it. Her husband had died many years ago. She had a new husband not a journalist.

Now if they wanted to get paid and keep a job, they did as told. That podcasts, were more likely to report facts. People that were not paid were the most likely to be reporting straight facts. That even podcasts once getting paid sponsors stopped giving facts and skewed towards the sponsors views.
December 8, 2025 at 1:18 AM
That the principals they learned in school were no longer taught. That factual reporting was no longer a thing. That journalist did whatever the owner of the TV station or the print media wanted them to do. Whereas in the past, it was factual reporting despite who signed their paychecks.
December 8, 2025 at 1:18 AM
She told me the name of the rules. I don't remember them.
She then watched a few news shows and she noted that they were reporting the same event in significantly different ways. She contacted a few of her husband's journalist friends. She asked if those rules were still followed?
They said no.
December 8, 2025 at 1:18 AM
I was talking to a friend how it appeared that journalist no longer report the truth. That their viewpoints could be bought.
That they seemed to report on what would gain them the most clout with power players. She said her husband had been a journalist. That he followed rules about being truthful

Wow, technology is leaving me in the dust.
10 year olds are 3d printing?!
3d printing seems like magic to me.
The Jetsons coming to life!
Where are our flying cars?!
