Definitely won't finish by May/June like I wanted to, though, and I'm not going to rush this process

I finally figured it out, but now I'm busy and don't have time to write it😭

Yesterday, I was so caught in the joy of continuing this rewrite of my book that it never occurred to me that I needed to eat. Like I typed nearly 10 pages yesterday (with constant changes being made in between also)

It's not that I don't have food to eat or that I just feel like eating. I'm fortunate enough to have more than enough food but it just slips my mind at times.

My original chapter one was ~2.6k words and 5 pages.
My new chapter one is ~7.5k words and 13.5 pages.

I added much more detail and dialogue from the original, but I still love it🥹

Like I still don't know what I'm going to do when I finish it. Will I let people close to me read it? Try to get it published? Keep it locked away from the world?

Stay tuned to find out, BUT it'll always be my baby and first book🥹

Don't get me wrong, I'm still VERY self-critical about it, and am worried that it won't be good, in the end, because of how self-critical I am.
