Soooo, been busy with work that I haven't typed much on my novel, BUT I have been writing notes and stuff. Making some slight changes to it to make everything flow together slightly better. This is primarily for the backstory of my two main characters

Another update: now that I'm working again, I've not had as much time as I've wanted to type, BUT I have a journal that I've written a lot of stuff in
Book update: Still on chapter two, BUT it's only because I can't decide on how I want one particular to play out (added scene from what I had in my original draft). I also haven't typed in a week either, so there's that, too, but I've jotted down different ideas in that week

I would really love to finish this book by spring/summer time, but I also won't rush this. I honestly can't wait to get caught up on my rewrite with where I left off on my original, more than anything, though

Book update: Currently, 15k words and 27 pages in🥳
My original chapter one was ~2.6k words and 5 pages.
My new chapter one is ~7.5k words and 13.5 pages.
I added much more detail and dialogue from the original, but I still love it🥹

So, I took a break from typing/writing my story, but now I'm back in the swing of it and super happy🤗
Going back to this. I decided to rewrite from the beginning, but like editing/expanding on what I've already written. From the precious 56 pages and 29.5k words, I'm now 5 pages and 2.6k words back into my story
My document didn't save properly, like I thought it did, and so I just lost over 1000 words for my story..
