Have you found yourself surprised that someone you just watched was directed by Max Keller or about the extent of the Van Patten Effect? Apologies if this is way out there or just dumb as hell.

I know he’s a prestigious tv director now but all I can see is Max Keller when I look at more recent photos of him, and honestly it makes it harder to take things like the Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire seriously. (I’ve never take GoT seriously, however).

Touched by an Angel wasn’t on yet, but I would assume that’s not as shocking as directing one of the most influential television shows to exist that ended up solidifying his career. Although it looks like Touched is what kinda was what was keeping him stable after quitting acting.
