Ways my cat & I are alike: We're autistic - hate change, bright lights, loud noises, doctors & houseguests. Picky about textures, food & sensory. We have arthritis, are told to lose weight & then actually gain weight when put on a diet bc our metabolism drops. We're chonky girls doing our best.

More on how cats are autistic: Tried what I thought was just another flavor of her favorite wet food, but it's "cuts in gravy" instead of "pate in gravy" and she wouldn't eat until I washed it out and gave her the texture she's used to.

We bought the calendar for the pretty pictures of Maine, but being a neurodivergent household we can't remember to change the calendar. I noticed, and finally turned it to August after this. Yes, for the 3.5 days of August left 🙃

You should also have it easy to find for others to help you. Dealt with that with a friend, had to panic-dump their bag. The ones on Etsy are for the typical style but there's small pouch types that would work, you could attach a key ring to it. But I bet someone could absolutely make a custom one!

Trying to will autumn into being by making a small pot roast. Yellow onions, Roma tomatoes and chuck roast has been in the oven, low and slow for over 5 hours. Boiling the noodle water now. Good choice on this dinner, past-self bc current-self is too stoned to do anything but boil noodles. 😑

Neurodivergent necessities to help attempt to fend off impending meltdown from overstimulation. I need to restock my soft reusable ice packs, keep losing them. Love when the adhd sabotages the tism. The dog barking, the messy kitchen, the constant internet issues -> gaming issues. Now, some weed.

Yes she was! The mostly white calico is Joon, laying on the cat we had before Luna, Abii. Abii tolerated more shenanigans than Luna did from Joon. This picture describes Joons personality lol. She loves you and she's going to show you whether you like it or not!

Fully admit to being That Weirdo by building an homage to Taylor Swift's folklore cabin in a video game (Valheim). Wholly impractical, but the area is woodsy and beautiful and I'm just gonna hang out here sometimes to enjoy the nature.

2 entire weeks later I tried again and I'm 2/3 done? I'm tired, the directions are confusing. But now I have a bookcase with no inner shelves on top of my kitchen island so I kinda have to finish 😅
