Now, by the standards of Asterix comics, we all know this is just short-hand for a secret orgy, right? Riiiiight? (I swear, as a kid I thought all orgies involved debauched cheese fondue shenanigans until I was wellll into my teens).

It was also the final session of our D&D group's "Spooky Door" campaign that we ran during October, so @feyriebunny.bsky.social also made us this charming Ouija board for our final in-person session. Is it not DELIGHTFUL! 💀💕🍊🦷
A charming Ouija board with capering skeletons and a celestial planchette. There is a pearl-bedecked pumpkin at the top of the board. Elegant in black with off-white writing. Detail of the full board. It has all the classic Yes/No, alphabet, numbers and Goodbye. But it is also emblazoned at the bottom with "Death R*@!?$ Here", as no-one would give our curious characters a straight answer as to which version of Rains/Reigns/Reins they meant.

Visited pals over Halloween weekend, and had ourselves a bit of a party. Here's the costume of my Fallout 4 character I crafted, and a fun charcuterie board @feyriebunny.bsky.social put together for us.
Me in my Halloween costume - Vault 101 jumpsuit, Doc Martens, leather Tunnel Snakes jacket, and aviator sunglasses, weilding a Jet inhaler and a pack of Radaway. My pal also painted on a fine goatee, sideburns and freckles so I could BE my Fallout 4 character. Me just in Vault jumpsuit mode with a roll of New California Republic dollars, Med-X, hair comb and three Jet capsules in my zip pockets (I also have a bag of bottlecaps for those who haven't trekked across from the west coast). Details of the back of my Tunnel Snakes jacket. I modded on the patch and studs myself - yay craft time! A fabby skeleton charcuterie board, put together by my friend for Halloween nibbles. a plastic skeleton draped in meats and fruit, surrounded by cheese. It was superemly tasty!

The Sylvian Trooper is dressed in a high-heeled skin-tight rubber bunny-bug suit, with only their teeth and a strip of skin around their upper arm showing. The Platoon is a giant crackle-topped orb of hardened flesh which has encased a fully operable WW2 tank - it crawls on four misshapen limbs, has a giant gaping maw filled with massive human teeth, and its belly and legs still have the melting faces of the humans it absorbed to create its husk. Game artwork created by Miro Haverinen, and is in a sepia-tone painterly style. (( For those who may question my logic here - I believe the Sylvian Trooper is about the only creature that likes this accursed creation, which is so dang difficult to beat. But by the Old Gods, don't catch me assuming the trooper's identity! If they're a follower of Sylvian then they may very well be all-gendered, just for shits and giggles.))

My last Pride March of the season, over in Stirling today. It drew large local crowds with spirits elated the whole trek. Excellent stuff for the town's first official Pride March! Great set of performances on central stage too, and folks seem to be making the most of the Pride Village & events. 🏳️‍🌈💖

And ey, I'll share one of my fave pics from during the festival - drinking cherry blossom green tea & eating some amazingly tasty cullen skink (gorgeously smoky fish, minimal on the potatoes, rich in the broth) from the National Galleries of Scotland. A nice rest-stop betwixt movies!

Sitting by the Avon this morning with classic pigeon cooing and the crashing of the weir is really nice. Quintessentially English. The architecture around here really reminds me of Edinburgh though - proper comrade city vibes. Will be sticking around another day for a recouperation break.

It is half-six in the morning, and I am waiting at the coach stop in Milton Keynes to catch a bus into the centre of town. Travelled all night to get here and am hyped to meet up with a pal and join a bike rave later today. Then we shall be TRAVELLIN'! 🔥🚴‍♀️🎶

That is a perfect match to my TBR cart! It is great for storing books, but a little bit of a heads-up on the middle shelf being a little unstable (it slides down when overloaded with volumes - though admittedly mine is crammed with research materials). Still a super cute and handy trolley though!
A turquoise rolling cart, now stationary as a shelf as it's quite overloaded currently. It has "To Be Read" vinyl lettering on it in pink. It is filled with books - both fictional (which are yet to read/pass on to fellow readers) and non-fictional which are mostly research materials. There is a cute lil' scruffy white cat plush hiding underneath a chequered bag sitting on top.

Just wanted to say, caught this most excellent sign at Edinburgh Pride today. The nerdy fandomhead I am greatly appreciates this (even if SPN did Castiel rotten with gay super-hell; the Cass report is still somehow worse). I must doff my hat to this ingenious sign maker. 💕🌈

Wishing y'all a steadfast and resilient Pride this year! We had record turnout from our network at Edinburgh Pride today, marched in solidarity and chanted loudly. Humid & foggy morning, which turned to soft warm rain - actually pretty perfect. 🌈

My cat Noodle stretched out in her tower bed by the window blinds. She is a naked grey-black Canadian Sphynx with tubby belly, elegant legs, a whippy tail and a black furry face with beautiful eyes and bat ears which makes her look like a model. The sun is falling on her making a dappled pattern through the blinds, and she is giving a little grin like the work of art she is.

Fashion plate of a Victorian Halloween bat costume. A fine young lady has a funny bat head hat with giant ears atop her fancy curled updo, wears a dark but above-ankle-length flouncy bustle dress, and a wonderful cape with wire stiffening to give the impression of bat wings when held up. The cape is fastened at the front with what looks like an entire stuffed bat? It's really quite ostentatious! Probably 1880s by the distinctive cut of the dress.

Peyton Al Malik - etemology-wise 'Peyton' is the Old English placename for "fighting man's estate", turned surname. Honestly, his mum watched Peyton Place on TV in the late 60s & named her son after it. 'Al Malik' is his Lebanese dad's surname, of Islamic origin, meaning "Sovereign Lord".
Commission of my character Peyton Al Malik by @novkali.bsky.social. He is a wiry Lebanese-English hitman in London in the 1990s. He's defo a bit of a pretty-boy, with kind hazel eyes and a cheeky smirk. Badly-bleached fluffy hair with dark roots showing, he wears a leather biker jacket over a white t-shirt and a sky blue neckerchief, and weilds a military sniper rifle. In this picture he is also drenched in blood, a mix of his own from a head wound and splatter from the bottom left/the damage caused to an opponent from the butt of his rifle. Pencil Sketch of Peyton by myself. Slicked-back bleached blond hair, smug smirk, leather jacket and shooter's gloves holding his sniper rifle upright at the ready. That cancelled TV show you'll never stop thinking about...

I... um... mighta been out at one of our local game shops for boardgaming &... uh... yeeeeah, nabbed a copy (I am a sucker for a nice solid physical copy when it comes to RP manuals). Also, chatted to the shop owner: sounds like the GURPS Fallout system was the super-crunchy maths fest I remembered.
My hand (braceletted with a pink & purple beaded friendship band made by my flatmate) holding up a brand new, chonky copy of the Fallout RPG manual. The manual is designed like the back of a dark blue Vault-tec jumpsuit with the coding for Vault 111 on the back in gold. The manual is licensed by Bethesda and compiled/created by Mōdiphiüs.
