No one is arguing that he didn't. What was wrong was eliding 2 parts of his speech that were an hour apart without making that clear.
Of course he incited insurrection. But don't falsify the data.

I agree, it was most likely deliberate. Otherwise why not make it clear the two things were said at different times in the speech? It's not hard to do and imo doesn't weaken the argument of his complicity.
And now all the focus is not on what he said and did, but on the deceit.

In addition, although the Panorama edit elided two parts of Trump's speech, he _did_ say it all. None of what they broadcast was fake or a lie, although they should have been clear that there was a gap.
