This whole uproar about ai using easily accessible and public information to be trained on is something people need to have better education on. Again I have mixed feelings on it myself and I'm fully aware of what's going on under the hood.

I've also been an artist and I draw my inspiration from other people's art and take components i like to recreate what I see in my head by hand. I've never been good at the digital stuff. So isn't that also considered stealing? Cuz i know a shit ton of artists who do that.

Artists have put their art out there publicly for all to see. If i can Google search and pull those images and photoshop them myself then it's essentially the same thing. And that's what a lot of digital artists do these days.

Hmm see I'm very conflicted about this working in AI myself and knowing what goes into training and generating with AI. While yes it shouldn't be replacing artists and people should be going to an artist first, I don't think we see the full picture.

You talk about echo chambers, yet pretty much every social media algorithm becomes an echo chamber. Even the news is curated to match it's viewers demographic. If you want to have opinions, that's fine. If you're going to be morally insane then that's different.
