I still don't have internet at my new place but I am closer to it. It's hard trying to find an affordable internet provider.

Last week of Bridges begins today. I wish it was longer than 6 weeks because there is stuff in our binder we haven't covered yet. I highly recommend this workshop to all abused women.
I would love to see a men's version for men who have been abused. They deserve to heal too

Still safe in the women's shelter. I have a lead on a bachelor's suite that I really hope I get. I met with landlord & her Mom in March to look at a different unit. They loved me & approved me but I budget changed & I had to turn it down. I hope I will be approved again

I have checked into a women's shelter this afternoon. I am sick of my abusive ex husband's emotional & mental abuse.
I am exhausted & wish he would have moved out so I didn't have to check myself into a women's shelter. I now have 30 days to find somewhere new to live

I can't believe I am halfway through the 3rd week of Bridges. It's a 6 week course.
I am learning & growing. The ladies in the group are so kind & make me feel safe, a rare thing for me to experience.
I was abused horribly by the women in my life. My worst bullies in school were fellow women.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Thunderstorm clouds were building up yesterday. We got one thunderclap & that was it. It's funny because earlier in the day I was saying how we get thunder-teases here, we hardly get storms.
