Mark, we have to stoop to their level and play where they're at. None of the serious questions matter anymore, this is where American political discourse is. By pointing out the kind of character these people have behind the curtain of politics and shining some light into how ugly they are.

What sucks is that the votes are essentially set in stone and this is a hearing for each side to get their highlights on the record. Exposing how horrific he is is more gathering ammo to use in ads and future campaigns.

It's not wrong to do this, it just sucks the hearing isn't changing anything.
