Here’s the thing you guys can not grasp. There was not enough of us to cost you the election. You actually lost because too many high school or less educated suburban women in households earning between $25k to $50k shifted toward Trump.

Looking at the last chart, it shows Harris lost ground across the board. In fact, one of the likeliest groups to be ideological, white men making good money shifted dramatically toward Harris in the 6 states that flipped. One of the few groups to do so.

Leftist voters overwhelmingly voted your way. You lost because high school or less educated suburban women in households earning between $25k-$50k in the 6 states that flipped shifted to trumps favor. They largely are not ideological, they were probably half their income to a landlord though.

Unfortunately I fear democrats are going to take last nights results as a sign they are heading in the right direction running moderates. The reality is they simply won a backlash election.
Meanwhile Mamdani’s win was based on more people energized by the vision he offered rather than a backlash.

Breaking the adult voting age population into 4 roughly equal quadrants here was representation by age quartile for democrats back in January. People only have gotten older since.
Young people have marginal representation at best. And I am talking the youngest HALF of the adult population.
