Finished the squad captain if that’s what he is.
I’m enjoying painting these guys, there’s something believable about them.

Shield is finished(apart from the lamp post, I forgot it was to be fitted). Next up the brave chap that stands behind. Told you there was a copper overload. Tabletop minis, cities of Sigmar.

Watched the service at the Cenotaph this morning, every time I hear Nimrod it brings a lump to my throat.
And I think of my Dad who I miss so much, He was the greatest teacher I ever had. He taught me more in life than anyone ever could.
He did serve with the Army in the 60s70s and 80s.

Yes I’m slow, first shield nearly there.
Some touch ups to do then washes. I can then start on the fusilier to stand behind said shield. Shame GW didn’t include slightly bigger bases for these models. It has to be so close to the edge to make things fit on the base. I know I could have bought some.

Hydrangea changing colour.
Autumn colours.

These are quite large models the cavaliers from cities of Sigmar. Just the one set of legs put together, I was curious about how big they were. Going to be fun painting these when that time comes. #warhammer #citiesofsigmar #ageofsigmar #miniaturepainting

First of the fusiliers shields is coming along. Lots of metallic paint next for the front, going to be a copper overload.

This is so sad 😞
Today (date), the Slender-billed Curlew was declared extinct. The first bird extinction on mainland Europe in 500 years — on our watch. Extinction is final. No going back. Think about that.

Today’s wip, Captain of the freehelm steelguards. It is my own colour scheme.
I’m going to change the gold for copper I think.

So should I start making silver jewellery regularly again and post my pieces here?

What do you reckon?

Thought I’d just build and the first of the fusiliers from #citiesofsigmar, see what they are like and workout build progress. I painted part of the shield before fitting its support leg.

Getting stressed trying to sort out my son’s insurance on his car. Hate dealing with them, they are quick enough to take huge sums of money off younger drivers but as soon as you want to claim they don’t half drag it out.

I have finally got a whole squad built except shield arms(easier painting without them).
#citiesofsignar #ageofsigmar #warhammer #40k #modelmaking 3 minis are missing from this pic as they are fully painted.

I love visiting my family in Cornwall, However I always feel depressed when the time comes to say goodbye, packing the car is the worst bit, And driving home, I really don’t want to leave. I love house I live in, But I don’t want to return to it. However once I’m home I’m fine. Help I need to move.

While driving between St Just and St Ives there are #Cornish engine houses from the mining days stood in ruin on the side of the road. And on a rainy day are just asking for to be #photographed, So yes I stopped. I love these seeing these #ruins about the county.

Visited family in Cornwall this weekend. Visited St Ives now that the summer holidays are over. Love having a wonder round there.

Hahaha I’ve managed to do 3 links of track this weekend that’s sums up my model making. I have now found a way to do this very fiddly process for me a bit easier.

Think two whole tracks is going to take a while. Love Miniart detail but the part count is crazy.

Oh dear, it happened again. I’ve added to my #citiesofsigmar army again.
Oh well never mind.

Winter months are coming so this means more bench time.

This was my view at 6:16 this morning after dropping my son at work, I’m now sat at home 9:50 listening to the rain thunder. I love a proper thunder storm, Mot had one here for a while. #sunrise #thunder #rain #storm #weather

I’ve decided to do a bit the miniart 1/35 scale M3 Lee/Grant tank. Working on the tracks, which are fully flexible there are a lot of parts. 4pieces to each link and 80links to a track. Means a crazy number of parts to cut and clean up before putting together. I’m going to be some time.
