I've been cleared to be fully weight bearing on my left leg! But the strain of supporting my weight with my right leg and using that to push a knee scooter on carpet has my right hip muscle crying. But still, progress!!

And I am out the other side of surgery and am resting at home. So far so good!

On Monday, I'll have surgery on my left ankle. The right one is pretty much healed, so this time I'll have one good leg instead of two bad ones! Been there done that. This one will be a day surgery. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end for this saga.

Update - As soon as I get over Covid (my friend called me "retro"), I'll be having a second operation on my left ankle. This will be less involved; they'll just put a screw in. But I'm tired of damn medical. NOTOCON is toast, however, at this point.

Hello all. I've been working on my Bluesky account set-up while I'm laid up in the hospital with broken ankles. I won't post much, but will read your stuff and comment occasionally. Nice to see this app taking off, as other X-alternative sites have less flexibility.
