The textures, the sounds, the smells... I could spend my entire life here, appreciating all that she had to offer.

Vancouver Island in the winter is so beautiful, raw and moody. Even when it rained non-stop, it still took my breath away.

I think this is the first holiday season (the first in a long time, anyway) that I've felt festive and nostalgic.
