The best friend I’ve ever had was a big, peculiar, orange cat - quirky as fuck. He was right by my side for 18 years - mad attentive, wicked affectionate, crazy supportive with me. During the last weeks of his life, he taught me how to live in the moment. Exceptional lesson. Superlative companion.

My initial reaction - feeling warm & fuzzy. 2nd thought - I could really step up my game w/ hydration & narcan. Final realization - I’m an old hag, haven’t been to a show in YEARS, so happy others are carrying on the concert mom tradition.
