Last night, a (BRILLIANT) musician friend I haven't seen or communicated with in a while texted me to check I was ok. I was touched by her concern & the act of replying to her message & catching her up on things this morning GENUINELY..

The ho-hum plot disappointed. There were no real surprises. I WANTED a longer film that might more movingly have explored the cycle of familial trauma theme.
