For me, it was being comfortable exercising. Aged 17, wanting to be more muscular. Found I quickly get hot when exercising. Running one summer night in local woods, still too hot in just shorts, so stripped off. The night air cooled me, I ran free. From then, I always ran naked, even in the winter.

I seem to remember that these things are surprisingly difficult to use. But, when you get used to them, great for core strength and posture.
